Is the Muscle 42" available in liquid propane?
Yes. The Muscle 42" ships in both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane configurations — select your fuel type at checkout.
How does the Hybrid multi-fuel system actually work?
Pack charcoal, lump coal, or wood into the patented fuel trays beneath the cooking grates, then fire the gas burners for 3-5 minutes to get the solid fuel lit. Kill the gas and the extra airflow keeps it burning, so you can finish the cook on straight charcoal or wood — or run gas and solid fuel together.
What's the difference between the Muscle 36", 42", and 54"?
All three share the same burner and fuel-tray platform. The 42" steps up to six burners, 132,000 total BTUs, and 1,315 sq. in. of cooking surface — a middle ground between the 36"'s compact footprint and the 54"'s full-scale capacity.
Can the Muscle 42" be installed as a built-in, or does it need a cart?
The Muscle 42" is designed as a built-in grill head for an outdoor kitchen island. A cart-mounted freestanding version is also available — contact our team if you need the cart configuration.
What's covered under the Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty?
Replacement parts are covered on a 100% non-prorated basis for as long as you own the grill, so you never pay a declining percentage as the unit ages.

American Made Grills builds every unit to order in the USA. Products ship throughout the continental United States via professional freight carriers, depending on grill size and configuration.
- Free standard freight shipping on every AMG grill
- Freight deliveries include curbside service unless upgraded to white-glove
- Estimated lead time: 2-6 weeks from order confirmation, depending on model
- An adult must be available to receive and inspect freight shipments
- Tracking information is provided once your order ships
- Gas connections must be performed by a licensed gas technician
Please inspect all deliveries upon arrival. Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. When signing for freight, note "subject to final inspection" whenever possible.
Returns
- Most AMG grills are built and configured to order
- If your item arrives damaged, photograph the damage immediately and note it on the delivery receipt
- Damage must be reported to support@alphacavehq.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Any outbound freight costs incurred by AlphaCaveHQ will be deducted from applicable refunds
Orders canceled after shipment are treated as returns and subject to applicable freight, return, and restocking charges.

All American Made Grills products are backed by the manufacturer's limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Our team will assist with any warranty-related concerns and coordinate with American Made Grills on your behalf.

How To Load & Switch Fuel
Muscle runs on charcoal, wood, or gas in the same firebox. Here's how to load and switch between them.
Load the Fuel Trays
Lift the 9-gauge V-grates with the grate-lifting tool and pack the 14-gauge fuel trays with charcoal, lump coal, wood chunks, or chips - however much fuel your cook demands.
Fire the Burners
Hit the 22,000 BTU burners and give them 3-5 minutes to run. The direct flame lights your solid fuel across every tray fast and evenly, no lighter fluid required.
Kill the Gas, Keep the Burn
Shut the gas off and let the extra oxygen take over. It's the fastest way to go full solid-fuel, and it's how you get that unmistakable charcoal and hardwood character.
Command Your Heat Zones
Work the adjustable hood vents to control airflow, mixing gas and solid fuel across zones to sear hard, smoke low, or do both at once.
