Does the HERO H2 move the entire cockpit setup?
Yes. This is a full-platform motion system — your seat, controls (cyclic/collective), pedals, joystick, and even your monitor mount can move together for consistent spatial reference and stronger physical immersion.
What software runs the motion and how does it work?
The HERO H2 uses Sim Racing Studio (SRS) to translate supported simulator telemetry into motion cues. This can include turbulence, vibration, runway/helipad textures, bumps, impacts, and other effects based on the sim.
Do I need a PC, or can I use a console?
Motion is typically driven through a Windows PC using SRS. For supported console titles, the optional MagicBox for PS/Xbox motion may be used. MagicBox is for motion control only — your peripherals still connect to the console as usual.
How much space do I need for the platform?
The platform footprint is roughly 2 ft × 5 ft (≈ 59 × 150 cm) and about 2 ft high (≈ 60 cm), plus your seat and controls. Leave extra clearance for motion travel, cabling, and safe entry/exit.
